Eligible entrants
Eligible entrants are identified as individuals over 18 years of age at the time of the deadline of the competition.
Employees and family of employees of LaVida Lit Cruises are excluded from entering the competition.
Number of permitted entries
Number of entries in this competition is limited to one entry per person.
How to enter the competition
Entrants must answer the short quiz, consent to the documentation part of the competition and answer a short question to be eligible for the prize.
Winners will be selected on May 1st 2025 and contacted via email.
The competition period
The competition start date is January 15th, 2025 at 12am AEST and will continue until April 25th, 2025 at 11:59pm AEST. Entries after this time will not be considered.

The prize details
The winner will be selected by random ballot on May 1st, 2025 and contacted via their supplied email. Failure for the winner to reply within 7 days will lead to a second ballot until such time the winner can be confirmed to have been eligible for the prize.
If an entrant is selected as the winner, they agree to be photographed and interviewed where necessary and agree to be involved in promoting the competition, including being photographed, videoed or interviewed and they agree that LaVida Lit Cruises can use their name, image and likeness for the purpose of announcing the winner to the public in any articles or social media posts promoting the competition.
Prize inclusions:
1. Return flights to Hobart from the winner’s nearest major city for 2.
2. 7 nights’ accommodation at a luxury hotel. Bedding arrangements can be made by contacting the hotel directly.
3. Luxury Dinner experience for 2
Disqualifying entrants
Any entrant found to breach the competition terms and conditions, such as cheating to win the competition by having an unfair advantage or if they act in a way that infringes a third party’s intellectual property (IP), will be automatically disqualified from current and future competitions without notice.

- The entrant acknowledges and agrees that if the Prize or Promotion Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
- The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner or qualifier, is unable to satisfy the terms or has breached the terms.
- The Promoter has no responsibility to accept late, lost or misdirected entries.
- By participating in this competition, entrants acknowledge and accept that the true intent of this initiative may extend beyond the apparent scope of a conventional promotional event. All submissions are subject to subjective interpretation and may not be formally included in the traditional assessment of entries. Participants implicitly consent to the understanding that the framework of this activity incorporates elements of creative expression and personal narrative so as to obscure the true nature of this endeavour from the intended recipient.
- Prize-winners acknowledge that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.
- Nothing in the terms include the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia.
